After serving as a crew member for fellow HSCRA driver Brent Bernath for 10+ years, Dan bought the #40 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo and drove in his inaugural race in 2020.  In 2021, Dan’s start/finish consistency throughout the year helped get him enough driver points for a first place finish in HSR’s Group 8.
